By the power of grey skull....
Or for that matter every other power under the sun, I couldn't turn to he-man. And for the first time in my life, I tasted failure.
In those days, the matter inside my skull was not equipped to work out the futility of the power of the 'grey skull'. Nevertherless, it gave me the sense of absolute dominion. That was childhood though. But the idea still lingers on.
This blog is just another vent to make way for the frustration, anger, despair, hope, laughter, heart-break and all other associated feelings that make me stand on the rooftop and scream at the top of my voice. I thought, let me put some words into it.
As for this post, I will restrict myself to just explaining what the title of my blog means. (And that doesn't mean, I question anybody's intelligence. I'm just trying to explain my pseudo-intellectual rumbling).
Decibel is an unit of sound intensity that on the surface means, higher the count, louder the voice. There are exceptions though. The written word, for exacmple. Silent but not subservient. It talks, it shouts, it jokes, it warns - and does all the stuff that the ears miss but the mind matters.
This blog is my jouney to explore the word that has a loud voice but no sound; cent percent potent but zero in decibel - paradecibel.
Keep listening!
P.S.: I also have a parallel interst. Just peep in to http://www.flickr.com/photos/hocus-focus/
